Portland OR events or advice, early October?
 

Hi folks,

My wife is attending a meeting in Portland Oct 4-10, and I'm toying with the idea of going with her. I'd consider myself a beginner/intermediate glass worker (lampwork and fusing), I've been at it about 3 years, and have taken 5 or 6 full weeks of classes, including Wesley Fleming's amazing sculptural class at Penland two weeks ago.

I'd like to meet glass artists in the area, take classes, visit galleries or get some open studio time if possible. Any suggestions on studios or people to contact would be great--anything exciting going on during that week? I checked Bullseye's site, but all they've got that week is a 2.5 hr beginner class on Wednesday...
