At midnight - Oct. 2013 Soda Lime Times
I can hardly believe another month has passed so quickly, but the Oct. 2013 issue of the Soda Lime Times will be ready to view at midnight tonight...if you are a subscriber. If not you'll have to wait until Oct. 15th to get it as a back issue. If you want to subscribe so you can get this issue tonight, just click the link at the bottom.
This month it's about murrini and it is a huge 65 page issue. We started off planning an issue on murrini and cane, but the murrini sort of took over. We do have two amazing tutorials using twisties, but we will also be doing a separate twistie issue in Jan. 2014. Here is a peek at what is in this issue: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Yep, and a weekend too, so it's OK to stay up past your bedtime. :)

Dagnabnit, I'm gonna be a zombie in church in the morning, cause I just HAVE to stay up for this issue.
So looking forward to it, I know it'll be killer just like all the previous issues. Diane rocks :) |
It is the only "time of the month" that I look forward to ;p

You guys are cracking me up! I just love my job.

1:53am Eastern! Couldn't sleep, lucky for me I had your issue to read!
I love this one! Already found some new etsy shops in it I hadn't been too before. Have to send a shout out to Dee though, her spaceship and marvin the martian murrini are still my all time favorites! ;-) |
I woke up to a surprise in my email! yippee!
Another AWESOME issue...probably my favorite so far! I love murrini! I have to say thanks for including the info on tutorials to purchase. It's a nice reference to have them all in one spot and see what I don't have. Thanks Diane & folks! Another great job! Julie |
Diane, I think I say this almost every issue but this might be my favourite so far! So much info packed in here. I have also discovered new Etsy shops and founded two tuts for techniques I was looking to learn. And the eye candy! Wow! Amazing job again.

Ahh, Sunday and its the 15th!!! Can't wait to read my SLT and torch all afternoon!
Thanks Diane for all of your hard work!!! I love SLT! |
Thanks everyone for making my morning! A lot of love (and perspiration) went into this issue. I'm excited that I get to melt some glass today too, which is difficult to do with so many wonderful new ideas swimming around in my head. :)
|
What a fabulous issue!!! So much talent and great tuts on making murrini. And I'm soooo excited to see a boro tutorial :)
|
Wow what an awesome issue. It will take me the whole month to go through it and try out all the new things. I love it!
|
Great issue...so much information! Thanks Diane.
|
This is my favorite issue ever. I loved all the muffins recipes.
|
Thanks so much everyone. This issue was so much fun to do! Now if I can just find some time to go melt glass I can try some of the recipes!
