It is a metal arched press it is great to take hot beads and roll it on for different patterns I can post pic but Do a search for Joseph Joseph rocker stainless steel garlic crusher.... I love finding new things for bead making...

From the video on the Amazon page, it looks like the under side of this tool would make a hexagonal pattern ~ pretty cool if it really works that way.....
