With boro, i try to lay silver on until i get a nicotine yellow color. If it is layed on too heavy you can blast it off with an oxidizing flame and then hit it with a neutral flame again real quick...

I left it open under the roof all the way around...
I left it open under the roof all the way around for ventilation and used screen for soffit. will be running a/c and maybe have door cracked open. No plans for a window. Heres a pic of the soffit.
