Adjustment

There should be a way to adjust or calibrate the pyrometer. On mine there is a screw just under the dial window. By turning the screw left or right you can move the dial indicator up or down.

I don't know if anyone makes Heavy Wall Tubing out of soft glass,
But it can be cut into segments after you add some decoration. Fire polish the ends after cutting.

Actually some people use Y connectors with both tanks attached, that way you can switch the fuel source pretty fast from one take to the other.

Mix up some soapy water and spray it on to the hoses etc to find the leak.
You will get bubbles where the leak is.

Bottle glass ordinarily has a COE between 85 to 87. Although the COE can be as little as 83 or as great as 90. Probably not a good idea to mix colors or manufactures, as you can see here they vary...
