Propane and Oxygen hose storage, time limit

How long can propane and oxygen hoses be stored and still be useable? I have some that have been stored in a box for at least 10 years...they aren't stiff and seem fine.

Many of the beaders I know prefer softlex over beadalon for durability.. and it's more expensive. However, that doesn't guarantee that it will hold up for the lanyards..

Yes, it's base vetrofond black, with a small pawprint on both sides of the surface in med pastel yellow. They are very compatible - I use those colors alot in beads since it's the University colors...
