I use a hammer on the garage floor to straighten...
I use a hammer on the garage floor to straighten out mine. Just keep rolling the mandrel while your tapping the part that is bent. It's always worked for me.

I've used the Lauscha #100 and #101 with silver...
I've used the Lauscha #100 and #101 with silver glass of all kinds and have never had a problem with cracking.
