I worked on a plumbing-type torch for a few months. it's slow going, and you have to make sure to stay out away from the torch, but if you are careful not everything will be discolored. good luck!

mine is on the cement floor. That is only because 1- i don't have a controller and 2- my dad has to do something with the fuse box to be able to plug anything else in in my little corner studio.
