Thanks for the comments everyone. But it's Loco's detailed tut that really did it. I am proud of him though. Just took him for an outing so I could show him off. It seems he enjoys car rides.

Do I still need fire brick under my kiln?

My new kiln just arrived today, WHOHOO!
It has a stand, legs are 6-8" high (sorry didn't measure)
Do I still need to put fire brick or concrete under it?

Don't want to burn the house down :)
