I have the intake coming straight from below the floor of the shed. Kinda nice to do with the shed style. It is rectangle, 12"x8" . I know you can work with either rectangle or with round that connects to a rectangle. A heating place would have the parts for it. You should try to make your intake a little larger than your exhaust ducting.
