If you're on a 5 LPM machine, you will be able to get a more oxidized flame with the Cricket. The Bobcat will get a hotter flame. You can still get an oxidized flame with the Bobcat on 5 LPM, but it just isn't as driving as that of the Cricket.
If you have more oxygen, then the Bobcat catches up in terms of being able to get a driving, oxidized flame. It is even hotter on more oxygen, too, and has a bigger top end.
You can always get a torch now and sell it later or keep it for a spare or for torching with a friend. So, if flame chemistry is really more important than heat, and you're limited in your oxygen supply, you might want to go with the Cricket. Otherwise, the Bobcat would be a better choice, IMHO.
