Default murrini - getting the center to show nicely
I "think" I'm getting pretty good at applying - and even making my own murrini (thanks to several excellent tuts by Mary, Astrid, ccglass and others), BUT I seem to be unable to keep the center showing - the murrini "domes" right away and the center almost disappears.

Does anyone have any tips? I think I might be cutting the murrini too long for one thing. Maybe I start making the murrini with too small a core - any specifics would be appreciated.
