It's so hard to tell you without pics, but I'll wing it

1) melt a big glob on the end of a fat rod of color.
2) decorate the blob any way you see fit.
3) holding the rod vertically (blob side down), melt the blob some more and
let it droop until it is about as long as you want it.
4) squish with BBQ mashers to make make it flat.
5) heat to remove chill marks
6) punty up to the bottom of the blob with a rod of clear.
7) burn off the rod leaving only the pendant attached to the punty
8 ) gently heat the melted off end and use a peters tweezers to make the initial
hole markings
9) use a tungsten pick to make the hole.
10) hold pendant with warmed hemostats and break off punty end
11) hit the punty mark and make sure everything is smooth.
12) kiln that bad boy.
