Thanks so much for the great info. De, Karen and Nancy. That's what I thought, it was made off mandrel using punties. I was hoping it was made on the mandrel using gravity.
Karen, your tutorial is well written and easy to understand, no need for pics. I have tweezers (# eight) but I am not sure if mine are "peters". I'll google that.
I haven't done the punty thing yet. I'll go back to U tube and watch the pros, before I attempt one on by own. Just a little timid, a blob of hot glass and no mandrel to control it.
This is my next venture in glass. I think I'll wait until until after Christmas.
