If you can, use handy andy's to make the holes. I did that last night while making off mandrel hearts and they work like a dream. I used to have a lot of trouble trying to make the holes with peter tweezers and a tungston pick. I would burn the shit out of my tungston pick and it would get yellow residue on it and get on the glass. They are expensive but they are worth it.
