I personally think it would be worth your while to sort through, you always make more $$ when you have done that. One big lot isn't going to go for as much.
You can group the colors in 1 lb bundles to sell, however. I have seen that recently from someone who is destashing and that was a really good idea. It helped the more common colors sell, as you can always use more but you otherwise wouldn't be buying it.
