Try something as a leak detector (soapy water) and determine exactly where leak is. It may not be regulator.... It may be tank.... There is a seal piece built into tank valve assembly where regulator connects and it may be defective.... Try a different tank or try to tighten connection more.....

IF your regulator has the rounded shout on end (no "o" ring) and it is smooth and not scratched or scraped it probably is not a problem...

If you determine that connector piece on regulator is the problem it is replaceable at any quality welding service shop.... Its a $6-10 dollar part and probably a labor charge....
