Default Q for anyone using a Dremel flexshaft...

OK....so mine came with one and I've never gotten around to even trying to hook it up until yesterday.

Mine's fairly old (I see they have a new flexshaft out that has a comfort grip) and is the straight barrel one.

My question is, is it just a matter of taking the collet and collet nut off the dremel and attaching to the flexshaft and then attaching the other end to the dremel to drive it? Specifically I'm wondering about this driver nut that I've seen mentioned. I don't have a driver nut or at least I don't recall seeing one anywhere. Is it a separate piece? Is it built in? Do I need it for the older style flexshaft?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
