I think a lot of people get mixed up because they forget that you have to allow for the thickness of the silver, so even though a pandora bracelet is 4.2 the the tubing i use is 5.07OD x 4.37ID, so your mandrels have to be at least 5mm which is bigger than 3/16 (4.76mm)

i found if i used 3/16 mandrels its a really tight fit if i dont double thickly dip them, 5/32 are even smaller - if i'm working out my imperial correctly (i'm a metric kid)

i cored these in brass which is a teeny bit smaller than the silver and they just fit
