My husband went and bought half a dozen packets of fish hooks, and wanted me to see if I could put one in glass. I put it in, but I'm wondering if the bead is really stable with it in there.
I tried winding glass around the barb on a different hook (different package) and it didn't really want to stick, even though I had it red hot, so I'm not sure what metal they used to make the hook.
Has anyone done this? Any tips to share? You can see the bubbles it was making, so I'm thinking there may have been some brass in the metal. DH says they are probably made from old cars
