Explore new possibilities in glass while creating unique effects through the use of the hot shop and flame working studio. Begin in the hot shop to prepare materials for flameworking. Flame-worked elements will then be incorporated into finished pieces in the hot shop. Through process oriented learning, gain a greater understanding of both flame working and the hot shop and how they relate to each other. Experience is a must from either discipline, but not necessarily both. Materials Fee: $20-$50/lb for color depending upon use, price for color, and payable directly to instructors
