Aye, I have one or three beads that are forever welded together because I did NOT take that 10 seconds between taking it out of the flame and putting it into my kiln.
It's a learned timing thing but you will pick up the skill in short order.
It's when you get lost admiring your own creation that you run a risk of letting it cool too very much.
