I think you do good on the black one. You can see the details just fine, which is what you want. Black objects photograph a bit differently and can be a challenge at times. Especially if you have both black and light colored items in the same picture. I had to spend a lot of time practicing when I started shooting black dogs as I kept ending up with black blobs at first. So I shot a lot as I learned how to light them. Luckily I had a lot of willing subjects that loved to model for food.
