Talking Favorite frits

I want some new frit. I have a lot of raku, some basics plain colors, and several of the iris colors, glow n the darks, etc.

I want to see your favorite blends and pinks.

Thank you in advance

encased by clear.

I have a thing for frit that looks like flowers in a field. I have a fair amount of other people's frit but mostly I mix my own. I do it because I have rather picky taste in what I want, lol. I also have a thing for frit that is pretty just on top of clear. My current favorite is this one:

Devardi.com carries a large amount of different Frits. Fine silver frit, copper frit, different raku frit, as well as frit made from their own glass. Regardless of how shocky (or not) you find their glass, it's not an issue with frit. I love their frit, and their customer service is awesome.

All I have been making is frit beads. It seems I am a frit 'ho. One of my favorites is Val Cox's tutti frutti - it is really old and I don't even have much left. I don't even bother to encase them, just roll in either white, ivory, copper green or a purple.

That's it.

Love that Triton.....

Let's see, I love my own blends of course, but I also like a lot of frit by Glass Diversions and by Val Cox. Favorites just depend on my mood, which lately has been pink.

OK, favorite Glass Diversion frit is Prism. Favorite Val Cox is Boro Bora. I like Frit Diva's Spaceball. And of course I have my stash of Dragonfly Glassworx, I love Alchemy.

Love Double Helix's Luna frit as a base to cause reactions in other frit. Other personal favorites include Japanese Maple, Moody Blue, and Rose Bouquet.

My favorites are Bead Goodies. Love Apple Blossom, Fairies Realm, Atlantis... Too many to write them all...

I really like Val Cox's Tutti Frutti too.

GG's are fantastic, but I am a That Frit Girl ho. Not biased or anything, of course (wink ... she's my sister). Seriously, I really like the way Leslie blends frit and will see if she can match anything .... even my funky socks

Susan Sheehan made a blend called valentine's. It was awesome! I recently contacted her here and she made me a bunch! She is awesome!!! I think there are pics on my blog of pink spiral squished beads. I think is worked in some Chardonnay with them so they might look yellow-ish but it's the pink, and peachy pink that is awesome Frit. Let me see if I can find the pic

Brb ok .. . They are the pink beads in top photo, the next pic of beads is a pile of just the pink ones from the above pic also. Look at them closely. The pinkest parts are pure Frit poking out the yellowish was encased in Chardonnay. The camera brings out the yellow a bit.

You are so sweet! My frit career was short lived. I was going to make them for Jessica at Phoenix Art Supplies but her life took her in a different direction.

I recently got a selection of Elizabeth Bead's frit and am really liking them. I think Copacabana looks like a wildflower meadow in full bloom. And if you like purples the Boysenberry is yummy!

I also have some Rabbit Hutch frits that I love - Purple Suede and Magic have a special place on my shelf.

Just put it on your etsy. in limited batches whenever you have time to make it. Hell I'll take a weekend off and come up and we can have a frit making listing party! You are not that far from me, and it would be fun!!!! they sold that fun silver glass that way, and sent out a newsletter every time there were new listings. You can basically create a cult following, and list when you are ready to ship.

Well, outside of my own frit line...I'm partial to any of the frit vendors who advertise with LE...I lean towards Glass Diversions and That Frit Girl, the color choices are so bright & colorful.

While FABFrit doesn't carry "in your face" bright blends, it is a very stable, encaseable and virtually trouble free frit.. just perfect to start you on the road to your new addiction...frit! its' everywhere

I ordered from beadgoodies.com. Talk about fast! I got mystic and centennial rose. Can't wait to play with them this weekend.
