thanks for the link.
i do have my holding tank set up that way.....i was curious if there was a way to get the holding tank to store the oxy at a higher pressure then the oxycon puts out in order to store more oxy.

moot point though as another oxycon is in the works.

Hi Jack,
I need to get the tracking information and shipping info for the Hurricane and other items that you said were on their way. As you might remember I need to know when the unit is arriving so I can have someone available to help me lift it and get it into the studio.

I emailed you Thursday morning but hadn't heard anything and it is important for me to know, especially since it could arrive in the next couple of days.

Thank you.

Thank you Jack. I appreciate it. Is the entire list of items we are expecting coming in the same box with the Hurricane or will some ship separately?

Hi Jack,
This is Kathleen from Lake Isabella.....I have emailed you three times and have not heard back anything.....plus tried to reach you here. I know that you are busy, as I see it in these posts....but you had told me to expect the unit in 3-4 weeks and now we are in the 7th week....is this normal or has there been a problem?
Thanks!

Hi Jack - I just received a shipping notification but the shipping address was to someone named Dustin in NM, not me. I'm a little confused.

Does anyone know how many watts a M15 uses? Just trying to make sure I'm not overloading my circuits when I plug everything in.

650 Watts, nominal.

Actual current draw is usually around 500 watts.

Hi Jack! I was wondering about my order too? I ordered 2 M-15s on June 23, beccagracestudio@gmail.com. How close are they to being ready to ship? and will you send me an invoice for the shipping charges? Thanks!

another question about filters....i rec'd my 2nd m15 the other day, and when i started it up i ran it w/o the filter on for about 5 minutes. during this time, the hatch was shut and it was not in a dusty environment.

how bad was that? i can't imagine a few minutes unfiltered would matter, but i'd rather be safe then sorry.
i'll need to buy a few of those filters when they come in.

here's another question related to these oxycons.
i've got two ex15's going into a holding tank, running a midrange. say for instance i'm using the premix for a hour or so....it uses less oxy then the midrange. both my oxycons are set to 7lpm. if i use the premix for a while, an excess of oxy builds up in the tank and the lpm meter goes way down on the oxycon (similar to what happens if you leave them running and close the valve on the torch) to around 3lpm.

now i know this is due to my torch only using so much oxy, and the oxycons puting out more then my torch can use sometimes. but is this bad for the oxycon? to run it at full lpm but only use half of its capacity?

Running the units at less than full, does not hurt the unit at all. Your torch acts as a flow meter. It is like simply turning down the flow on a unit with no torch attached. It would be a problem if the ball was at zero for extended amounts of time.

Jack- Any luck on tracking number for my shipment? Looks like I was charged on 7/26 but haven't received it yet. Seems like it would have been here by now. Appreciate it!
