I tried to make a faceted graphite push before I realized graphite dust
is hydrophobic and just floats on water...
Made one heck of a mess out of my faceting machine.
To add insult to injury, graphite dust is electrically conductive so it easily
ruins appliances and power tools. 
Apron, shoes and gloves for graphite work stay in a plastic bag in the shed
now.

Yup, boro color is expensive, but a little goes a long way. And you get to practice your encasing skills, to make it go further.

Very nice i have seen the elvis color and i wish i could afford it lol but the Ns and Ga is good enough for now how do you get those giant posters of their colors?

Since drilling or cutting graphite sounds like more trouble than I personally would want to deal with... I'd probably get some kind of 90 degree bracket and attach one piece of graphite to one side and another piece at 90 degrees to the other side. Am I nuts, or would that work? It's not as elegant, perhaps, as shaping a piece to spec...

I called GA and they were happy to send me one. I got my Northstar where I bought my glass (they were out of the GA chart). Bet NS would be happy to send you one too.
