Can I use this oxycon?
I've looked around on the net and the threads here to see if this is what I'm looking for, I think it is, but I just wanted to make sure by asking here on LE.
I called the number shown and the fella said it's a 10-34psi? Airsep New Life Elite.
Check it out!

Thanks for the help!

The picture shows what looks like a Respironics unit. Also, I think the AirSep New Life machines put out something like 6 psi.
Just about any 5 LPM machine will run your Minor for soft glass beads (and some small boro). The flame will be small, but usable.

I will put it this way... I would be very cautious about someone selling a "consentrator" on Craig's List listed as "in perfect condition for oxygen patients." Sellers generaly have to be very careful selling medical equipment, since prescriptions are required, etc.
Here is a picture of an AirSep Elite
http://www.airsep.com/medical/newlifeelite.html
The machine pictured for sale is not an AirSep machine.

Here is a picture of a Respironics Millennium 10:
http://millennium10.respironics.com/
They used to make a 5 LPM machine that looked just the same. I cannot tell from the picture whether it is the 5 LPM model or the 10 LPM model.
The specs on those machines say that the operating pressure is 10-30 psi. This is misleading. The operating pressure is NOT the outlet pressure (what goes to the torch), but rather the pressures the compressor is using for pressurizing and de-pressurizing the seive beds. The outlet pressure is only about 5.5 psi.

Thank you so much Kimberly! I wonder why he would say it was a different make. Big red flag!
I see you have refurbished oxycons at a fair price, I also see you have 5 year warrenties, I will keep you in mind when the day comes to purchase one. (Hopefully sooner than later)
Thanks again!!!
