Default Adaptor to refill 1 pound propane bottles

I just ran across this on the Harbor Freight site. I am not sure how well it would work, or how safe it is.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=45989

It is supposed to be able to refill the disposable bottles from a stanard BBQ tank. This could be of interest to HH users who don't want to switch to a bulk tank setup for saftey. Assuming it is safe and legal as they say.

Cheers,

I have one and it works. I only used it 2 times just for testing as I use a phantom.

Just wait till Dale see this.

I'm sure it's not safe.

I've got real doubts about this. Maybe it should be moved over to the Safety fourm.

I have seen these, bought one, it sat on bench unopened for a year, I stared at for that year, it stared back at me for a year, decided I didn't what to have anything to do with it and THREW IT AWAY in trash......

Its one of those "good ideas" one should avoid as far as I'm concerned.
