What kind of beads are needed?
Hi,
I wanted to make some more beads, but I thought that I would ask first to see if there was a specific need for a particular bead? Bone marrow, glow in the dark, bumpy beads, purple hearts, and the dreaded butterfly?
Thanks,
Alicia

Act of Courage beads! That means, anything you want to make! Variety is good...dots, swirls, characters, critters, organic...whatever you love to make.
Interesting tidbits:
Tidbit #1:
Last year Beads of Courage received (and used) 41,000 donated handmade glass beads.
Tidbit #2:
Beads of Courage has doubled in size since last year.
Tidbit #3:
That means that Beads of Courage will need an estimated 82,000 donated handmade glass beads this year.
Tidbit #4:
We are only in June and more hospitals are adapting Beads of Courage every day!

Lori,
After reading your tid bits, it made me wonder, what is the current number of hospitals world-wide offering the BOC program?

I believe that we hit our 100th hospital mark this past month. We just brought on 6 in the UK last week.
