Nice solid colors that aren't streaky. So much of Effetre's 'new' colors look like scraps were randomly mixed together to make glass poop.

We are (im)patiently awaiting news of the shipment arriving to port.

We hope to hear that it has landed perhaps next week, although once it arrives it must go through inspections and be trucked to Frantz.

Why is there a 1/4lb limit on Effetre Black??? I need to stock up and that would be my reason for spending $100 but if I can't get black ....

We just got in a large shipment that includes 24 diferent Effetre handpulled color.

In January 2014 we received the new Effetre price list.

Common colors did not have price increases, so we are not raising those prices of such common colors as transparents, pastello, alabastro, hot color, opalino.

Many of the handpulled colors went up in price in 2014, but since we did not bring in many of those colors early in the year, there was no need to raise prices on handpulled color. But now we must make many increases on handpulled color from Effetre.

That is why I am making this post. While a few handpulled colors went down in price, most every other one has gone up. But while we are having this 50% SALE, prices remain the same. But when the sale is over there will be increases on many handpulled colors.

As you know we have a list price and we always discount our glass by 25%, this week it is 50% and free shipping* so you really will want to take advantage of the old prices for handpulled color before they go up.

And I can see on our website you are taking advantage of these low prices and free shipping and we are getting many orders, thank you!

Of course Frantz Art Glass will continue to have sales and offer you discounted glass sometimes above the 25% discount and/or sometimes free shipping.

So this is my 'heads up" on great savings.

One of Effetre's color we call LOVER BOY, and it retails for $47 ($23.50 after discount, plus free shipping on orders of $100 or more) and we have around 60 pounds left, but when it is gone and the new LOVER BOY which we may name Rosa Quarzo Pastello, will have a price increase to $75 per pound. Our present inventory of LOVER BOY we purchased over 5 years ago and the new batch does looks different and very interesting, and when we have made beads, we will take photos and post. And I am sure we will have our "Try Before You Buy" for this color.

We hate raising prices, but sometimes you just have to.

Hello Eileen, it does take us a few days to receive and enter all the glass from the last Effetre Shipment. And sometimes the latest shipment of handpulled colors must be tested as the color and tonality can change slightly and before we offer it for sale we must test, take photos and then begin selling it.

Most of all the restocks of common colors are now being offered, like black and 591006 Clear.

Over the next few days we hope to dig through the entire shipment and see what other surprises this order will provide for us.

Now our next Messy shipment should arrive in port in about a week and then a few days later we will begin offering them to our customers.

We will be updating as we work our way through over 22,000 pounds of glass.
