Hey, Virginia, I'll even go to the airport and pick him up!

Hey Kristi and all,

I am bringing a friend who won't have beads to swap unless I tell her and then they won't be lampworking ones.... she won't have fancy glass either but I did tell her to bring a give-away. She is a fantastic jewelry maker....

Who else is coming????

Duane, I fear that Sue is in trouble.... I think we will get along great and then she will never come to another bead jam if we both are there....

See you soon!!!

Still trying to figure what to bring for food...

Anyone staying and need a roommate??? I snore, but only when I drink...lol

Pam

Pam, you can't let Sue know that we may be plotting against her!

Snoring? I didn't know you could drink there

Ok, on a more serious note, I must say to ALL that Maine Glass Jam's are da'bomb. The people (including...sigh... Duane and Pam) are fantastic. If you want to meet a group with the biggest of hearts, you should drop in on a glass jam at Playing With Fire.

I am going to miss everyone this time around but I know it will be a blast and a half even without me. Don't let the joking and commoradorie (spelled wrong!) make you feel like an outsider. This is an amazing room of friendly people who are just waiting to meet you. Please join my friends on MLK weekend if you can.

Sue

And, we're only 3 miles from the airport!

And on the way from the airport to the studio, we pass Primo Restaurant, who, I just heard, have $1.00 oysters at the bar! Woohoo!!!!!!!

LOL, nothing scares Trey! (at least I haven't found it yet!)

No, Trey's just taunting us... (bad Trey, bad! ) he's actually teaching out in CA this coming weekend, so it's not too likely we'd get him to the jam. Not even with oysters.

But we will be seeing him November 3-4 when he'll be giving a workshop here!

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

I will be there, probably on Sunday. I'll bring food of the entree type, probably vegetarian. Really looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'll be there all Saturday and Sunday - and would love to share a room with someone... Anyone else want to split the cost of a hotel room (Granite Inn sounds great)? Saturday night only. Otherwise I'll drive back here to Brunswick. Last Jam was FANTASTIC! I've been looking forward to this one for months! Deb

Sounds good! I'll let you know about the kiln. I think Sonje will be able to get it, but I'll know for sure tomorrow/Wed. *Thanks*

Oh good, glad you enjoyed the last Jam! we're looking forward to seeing you again!

Check in with Pam (see earlier post) about room sharing. She had expressed interest.

@ Pam,
I'm sure if your friend wants in on the swap we can do that.

Also remember things for the door prizes.

See everyone Saturday!

Since we're expecting SNOW and I'm in an AIRPORT Friday, I can pretty well tell you that it's not time yet cuz I'm not sitting in the airport terrified that the plane won't get off the ground, or possible more scary, it WILL get off the ground!

Wish me luck. I have never flown in the winter before and I admit I'm nervous.

Sue

One more day to go! We are busy getting the studio ready for three days of fun... hot torches, melting glass, food and friendship in a warm toasty studio.

Virginia- even if I thought that, I'd never be able to admit it! lol... my daughter paid for the tickets so I have to go even if the plane can't get off the ground. Then again, if I get there and they give a refund- I WILL see you this weekend!
