Good idea Keven.
The only thing I need to make 60 spacers.
I was hoping to you a cheaper glass.
Thanks

Those ones look great!

You can get a copper sheen using Reichenbach 026 emerald. It's a 96 coe so a frit or a tiny stripe down the middle of a base bead works, it spreads as you melt it in. Then waft it in and out of the reducing flame to bring the copper to the surface.

Bullseye Copper Green Luster might be a possibility.

Amber rose over silver foil is a pretty copper color, but also not on the cheap side.

Why not choose a base color and encase in goldstone. A transparent or pastel center of brown town, ivory, or orange/yellow/brown may be a cheaper solution(depending on the size of your spacers), or just a stringer of goldstone on brown/other color glass? If you could get your hands on some ASK silver cinnamon or carmel apple that would work really well!

Devadi glass makes a glass rod that turns metallic copper color, they have silver too.

I can't get the Devardi Copper to reduce in my torch, but I hear it works on a HH.

I seem to recall coaxing Moretti Carnelian Opalino into turning a brilliant copper color. I think you can try this with Moretti Turquoise.

I totally forgot about pixie dust!! That is by far the easiest copper color to get! Great suggestion Catherine!

Yep, I was gonna say Pixie Dust....but I can't get it to stick to my bead very well. Any tips, while we're on the topic?

Some colors of glas it does not stick well
I used clear. I'll let you know.

The bead needs to be pretty hot but not drippy. roll in pixie. and I heat mine again some.
