Default New glass rack

I'm so excited. A friend of my DH's made this glass rack for me. I'll post another picture when I get all my glass organized. I'm going to divide some of the compartments in half. I think its 24x18x18.

I doubt it! He's probably ready to kill me right now!!!! I stayed up till 2am labeling and putting glass in. I realized that I really don't have much glass. I just buy the colors I use and there are tons that I only have one or two rods. I'll post a picture anyway when I'm done. My new label maker rocks!! It's so fun. I feel like a little kid who wants to run around the house and label everything!!

I have a full rack!!! Okay, I'm almost done. I REALLY don't have enough glass!!!! But my rack is huge!!! (I wish!!), and it makes my glass stash look smaller. Everything is labeled, and I have room to add more!!

BTW, Squid, it's 1/2" wood. That bad boy is HEAVY!! I love it because I can put tons of stuff on top of it too. That is my Jim Moore bead liner sitting on top, and that thing weighs a ton!!

You were posting as I was typing. That looks so cool. I'll add, I thought I had gobs plenty and I need to find more storage. And it isn't that I have that much glass, but it does collect.

I love the idea of a label maker.

That's awesome!

I made a couple for myself similar to that. I was going to sell them, but they would end up being pretty expensive, plus heavy to ship.

that is very very nice! what are you using to divide some of the sections? I use fence railing but some of the compartments could easily accomodate two colors if I had dividers. I have not been able to brainstorm something easy to divide them with.

It's some kind of particle wood board my DH got at Home Depot. He cuts it with a skill saw. Let me know if you need more specific info than that.

Great storage, Lenora! You sound like me with the label maker. My friends were laughing at me when I pulled open my spice cabinet and all the spice jars had labels on the tops (the cabinet is a lower with pull out shelves) I just looked at them and said- why wouldn't you label them?

I'll bet your DH's friend could make some good money on this site if he decided to sell those. I know I'd be interested in buying one.
