Default Boro gallery~ November 3 to ?

These aren't any great shakes, newbie stuff, just wanted to get the boro gallery going again since we sort of have permission to. I think. LOL!

Hmmm...I think Rust with amber purple frit.

Whatcha got? I really, really miss seeing the goods in here even though it hasn't been that long.

I love those beads! I have tried that combination for a heart, but it didn't turn out near as nice as yours.

Did I post this guy yet?

Hey, thanks Eric! I don't know if you posted him or not, but he rocks! The fins are da bomb and so's the color, but I love the fins. I know there's a name for that technique (like the top fin) and I dunno what it is but you've got it down. Is he off-mandrel or a beadie?

He is off mandrel. He was made with blue moon fine frit, and I just kind of tried out making some fins with clear by stacking up stripes on top of each other. I am not sure if that is how they are usually done or not.

2006 Suzuki 1000. This bike is perfect! It has 1000 miles and has had its 500 mile dealer service. (Expensive) It's been adult ridden, all wheels have always been on the ground. I use it as a cruiser/commuter. I'm selling it because it was purchased without proper consent of a loving wife. Apparently "do whatever the f*** you want" doesn't mean what I thought. I've been at Beadapalooza all weekend and very tired today, but will post pics of some work I've done as soon as I can!

Everything is lovely, those amber purple beads are killer, and Eric.. that fish kicks major ass! love it.

Rebecca, I love those rust colors! Great job

Eric....VERY cool fish! The fin detail is great!

Here are some beads that I did last week. Also, some of my first implosions. Man, they could REALLY get addicting! They are so much fun to make...I'm not sure why it didn't try them sooner

Hope everyone's doing well.

Pipyr, is your metal work fabricated, cast, PMC, or electriformed? I have only done fabricated work so far, but it is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I have broken most of the glass that I have combined with my metal work. Just a little too much pressure trying to get a tight enough fit and then.....crack.

Sweetie, you really need to poke your head out of the boro room once in a while.

Pipyr...I wasn't too excited about electroforming when I saw it before but the way you are using it is too cool. I love how you can attach the crystal and the teeth with it... love it! Here's one of my peacock bicones.

Nice work you guys... I hope everyone voted today.

Here's a few really crappy pics of implosions I did the other day. The glare is killing me.

I'd have a boro shell I would share if its owner would only take a photo of it for me...

That'll teach me to send something off to a new home without taking a photo first!

Awesome work!!!
I can't get a good pic of this at all. About 50 tries and this is the best one. Phht. It's only Amazon Bronze disks made into a bracelet. They're so iridescent though, just can't get the camera to be nice.

Thanks Jo! It's soooo much easier to make disks from boro than soft glass.
