Do you do any fusing? If so you may want to check out JenKen's bead annealer. It is quite small for glass but can be ordered with a bead door. I think you could put 6 inch fusing molds in it. The bead door is not as wide as the ones you mentioned though so if you are planning on making a lot of beads the JK may not be for you. All the others are well loved by many.

Love my GH!

And customer service rocks. They truly believe there are no dumb questions. Well they didn't laugh at mine anyway & it was right down, flat out pretty darn dumb

I'm always going to recommend Arrow Springs kilns.

I've been using them for almost 20 years, and LOVE them. Great customer service, too.

I have been leaning towards the Glass hive. I don't fume, or fuse. I have a large kiln in the pole barn at back of property, so can get into fusing if desired.

I have had my glass hive now for one year and it is really nice. I have nothing to compare to though but here are my findings so far:

1) with two doors, one having a punty door, i can easily attach beads or sculptures
2) the system is very efficient as far as heating: it ramps up quickly and doesn't lose heat easily
3) the programming is very easy to use
4) and the best, the electrical bill does not show any noticeable increase!
5) finally, it is built really nice and sturdy.

Thanks glass hive!!
