Ooooh, a 1 day workshop at The Mandrel! Yay!

My good friend and sea life bead maker extraordinaire, Judy Carlson (please go visit Judy's website at
www.JujeeBeads.com) has offered her teaching services for a one day class next month on Sunday MAY 23. This class will be just $150... Class will run from 10am to 6pm, and just like always your lunch, glass and dipped mandrels for use in class will be provided
Here is a description of the class:
This advanced fish bead class is designed for those who have already taken Judy’s Fishing 101 or is familiar with the basics about making fish/sculptural beads. We will warm up by making a funky flat fish, then venture into critters made with twisties, encasement and hollows. All of the techniques learned can be used on a variety of designs, not just fish. So let's take the plunge together and dive deeper into sculpted beads!
Techniques learned: Using a crunch tool and frit; making and manipulating a hollow bead; making a twistie and shell bead; multi colored encasement over a design and a 2nd twistie style.
Don't worry if you don't have a crunch tool, I have a couple, and Judy prolly has one... we will work it out... and in the end, you may want one of your very own!
