Default help with unknown rods

Hi folks,

I'm hoping someone may solve my dilemma.....I lived in Japan for several years and picked up some rods....the Kinari ones are labelled as such....however the rest of the glass I have....has faded numbers but no name I can read (kanji)

i am hoping someone has an idea of what these are...possibly Satake, and if so, a link to a catalog , so that I can identify the rods I didn't list here.

1520 is a mid green
1424 orange
2204 a black encased in clear
1242 navy blue
1460 mustard yellow
2232 turquoise encased in clear

thanks for any help or insight you all can provide.
Randy

hi ,
I did find the Satake site and their coding numbers don't conform with the ones on the rods I possess, was hoping someone might recognize the coding numbers and supply the manufacturer's name

thanx,

have you looked at StashMaster?

just having a look at the codes you're using now

ok nothing really matches but the closest numbers are bullsey - with a 00 in front of the number, but none of the numbers match

Hi Sue,

Oddly enough I am originally from Maine, then Japan, now Hawaii,
I have Kinari rods, and they are labelled as such....

It is this other set of rods I have that are the mystery,,,, I thought Satake but their site doesn't have the same product codes, unless they changed them up within the last few years....

thanx,

Those are Effetre. I could tell because of the leading 1's and 2's. Effetre regular stuff is 591XXX and the filigrana is 592XXX. Filigrana = encased in clear.

591520
591424
592204
591242
591460
592232

Randy, where are you in Hawaii?

It's odder than you think! I was born in Bangor, Maine but got my social security number when I was living (Army brat) on Okinawa and the number assigned is out of Hawaii- and I've never set foot on the island!
