#3 Phillips Boroscopes questions RE:side shields
Hubby got the number 154510 green shade 3 economy boroscopes for my birthday! I am so darned excited over these. Until now I've just had the $25 clip-ons.
We have one question about them. The plastic side shields are a little uncomfortable. They bother him more than they bother me but he'll be using them also. Is there any trick to making them more comfortable? The issue is that shields are a little deep for our faces so the sharp edge pushes into the skin a bit. Has anyone tried shaving the plastic down or padding it with anything? Possibly silicone?

Thank you very much! We had thought about that. I have never had boro pop on me but I'm really new so I wasn't sure what the odds of that happening were.

I cut mine off and shaved the place where they attach to the frames smooth with a razor blade.
