Why would enamels do this?
I don't use enamels much but I thought they stayed mostly the same colors? This is Thompson brown beige, brown, (I guess they don't sell that one anymore?) and a tiny bit of one of the yellows. All opaque and cooked in on plain effetre white.
Green?!? Really? Why?

You boiled the enamels. That can create a cool organic effect, but it can allow the colors to mix. Keep in mind that brown is a mix of colors so it must have mixed up into green on your bead.

Thanks Felicia. I meant to boil it for a mottled fur kinda thing. It just really surprised me. Pretty sure slow loris doesn't come in green.

LOL. My guess is the yellow mixing with whatever makes up brown did it.

Haha I've done that before myself, i think with the coffee? I don't think it was beige, but might have been. And pretty sure it was on ivory too.

I like it! This slow loris is really slow and algae grew in the fur. Like the sloths: http://blogs.biomedcentral.com/on-bi...h-green-algae/

That IS really slow.
Thanks Raven, not just me then. If I can get those holes cleaned up properly, the BoC kids might like it. Tried frit and it looks like a face on a frit bead.
Back to the drawing board...

I'm sure the kids will like it. It's cute, even though it didn't turn out the color you expected.

Chocake, I thought it was a nice shade of green too. Might come in handy for florals or something. I tried black enamels today, on light gray and...I dunno, something grayish- fossil maybe. It turns blue when boiled on those colors. Also not the color of a Slow Loris. lol
