Default Canon camera CCD image sensor

Thought I would share this info and the link to the page that lists the affected cameras and camcorders.
My four year old Canon PowerShot A310 just quit working - everything would come on - settings, etc. but no image in the viewer. I would get a rolling once in a while - like "old TV" screens before satelite and cable
I found a page on Canon's website that referred to my problem and my camera was listed along with others for having this problem. I called the 800 number and could not believe I did not have to buy a new camera!
Canon was awesome! They paid postage to return the camera, repaired it for free and sent it back FedEx - all in about 3 weeks.
