I do wear a leather apron made out of a cow hide my husband made me.
After the third degree burn on my belly flap/flab and doctor talk about skin grafting
and months of silvadine and bandages
I never torch without it.

When making murrini gathers this big - and having had a couple let go of the steel disc punty (luckily landing on the bench!) - I wear one just across my lap area. This would be a life-changing disaster if it landed in my lap or on my legs...
