Default Wire wrapping for large lentil?

I am in no way "handy" at doing wire wrapping but I have a bunch of large lentils that are needing "something" in the way of a wire wrapped bead cap or something on the top. See beads (1 inch lentils) below and I would appreciate if someone has input on some kind of wire wrap bead cap for the wire wrapped impaired...LOL!

Thanks,

Janet

Default Wire Wrap Bead Cap

Lydia Muell has a wonderful tutorial for a bead cap. I have used it on a lentil as well as a round bead. Sorry don't have a picture of the lentil.

That is exactly what I was looking for but it looks complicated....is it fairly easy?

I thought it was easy. It is very well written and illustrated. I was actually pretty new to wire wrapping when I did it. I think it took about 2 hours but.....I took several breaks during that time.

I was really into learning wire wrapping, when I found jewelrylessons.com. Tons of great tutorials!!!! Unfortunately, doing it really bothers my hands, so had to scratch doing that part, and come up with other creative ideas.....

In the '60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

Janet, I was puttering around on utube and ran into a video with two women with British accents. They were with a TV show or a business...I CRS...She had a really neat way to make a cage that took about 5 minutes!! Of course, I didn't bookmark it to use, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.
