So Many Tutorials are Gone
I know a lot of the tuts here are getting fairly ancient, but it's getting to the point where most of them are just dead links, damn I hate to have missed so many of them.

yes I already have a list of those I regret not grabbing.
Second only to the dead pics in the archive threads and old galleries.

It's so sad to lose so many resources. I've been trying to find the Water Spirit Tutorial by David Sivers and can't find it anywhere. I messaged him on Etsy but haven't received a response - he might have closed his site there. It inspired me to review all my old links and I must have had to delete at least a third of them because they weren't active anymore.

I agree it so sad and I really dislike people removing their beautiful bead pictures out of them and the gallery. It makes them so broken especially to the new artists trying to learn. I just don’t understand why it happens.☹️

Some of the hosting sites started charging and deleted accounts (and the photos) if you did not sign up for a paid account. Photo Bucket did that. Not sure about Flickr. If someone was storing pictures on a web site rather than uploading a jpg, tif, gif etc then most of them are gone.

I feel the same, it a huge amount of info that has been lost. Luckily nearly every tute I came across I cut and pasted into a word doc, so I have a huge resource. I dont have many paid for tutes except those that people have gifted me in exchange for free tutes that have disappeared,

I agree, It’s such a shame that this wonderful resource is so ephemeral . Is there a better way to upload photos so that they will stay?

I know some of my early postings I used photobucket, and it went away so the photos did too. I think the ones we upload directly from our device to here should stay, is that right?
I'm wondering if we put a link to our online storage if it will go directly to that photo, or can other people then also access other things we have stored there?

yes direct uploads stay. I still see my old old stuff. I'm not sure what you are asking, are you talking about cloud storage? I think you could probably share but I'm not sure how secure that is, or what's involved. I don't think you need to keep it on your computer after you upload to here.

basket random is the ideal option if you're searching for an insanely entertaining basketball game that defies the rules. For players of all ages, this oddball and unpredictable online game offers a chaotic twist to the traditional sport of basketball, resulting in endless fun and pleasure.
