Need some feedback on photos please?
What do you think of these photos?
Is there anything that I can do differently? I greatly appreciate the feedback, thank you!

1) photos look a little too dark and kind of "flat"
2) I would add something to the mix - the earrings look a little boring
just lying there. Maybe have them hanging from a branch or resting against
a raised stone.
3) You definitely need a pic of them actually hanging down. It's hard to tell
what these would look like if they were being worn.

I agree Karen and I will shoot them hanging too. I am not sure how to get them lighter without washing them out. This whole photo thing is frustrating to say the least.

It looks like your lighting is coming from the back, which seems to be casting a shadow on the front of your bead. Maybe moving the position of the light would help.
I'm struggling with earring pics as well. The darn things won't stop swinging!

I love the earrings, but I have to agree that the photo has too many shadows in it. Maybe more soft light and hanging them is a good idea.

Yup the lighting is in the back and I tried to moving it to the front and here is a different set for comparison. I am not seeing too much of a difference?

Well, it is better.
But it's still too dark. I'm going to assume that you're using the auto functions to take the picture. If that's the case you either need to find a neutral pale gray background or change your "exposure compenstion" to a + number. You'll need to test exactly what yourself.
I'm also not sure why the "double" background? I'd suggest the simplest background possible, single plain color, non textured.
