POST THE CLASSES!!! I also check their website everyday. I would think they will be posting them soon. The website says the books will be mailed in December. Enough with the waiting. Inquiring minds want (need) to know. Lori

Me too. I missed B&B last year due to conflict with work problem. (Dammit anyway) But I am scheduled for the week of the show to be off off off. Can you tell I always love B&B? LOL
I am anxious to get the program too.

I just received the program catalog in the mail today (and I live in Germany), so you should be getting your printed program soon!

Hate to rub salt into the wounds here, BUT usually all foreign subscribers of Bead & Button get their mags, etc much earlier than you all in the US. I guess living outside of the US has its perks sometimes!

Hi Jeri, Hi Lisa! You probably don't remember me but I've taken classes with you both. I can definitely recommend either one of them if anyone's thinking about a class in glass. Lots of fun!

Hi Deb..

Of course I remember you....you really enjoyed all that crazy color mixing and stringer pulling in my Landscape class. That class has spiraled into a new class devoted to color....

looking forward to seeing ya again at B&B!

Lisa

Lisa you've got me pegged. I still have all those stringers too. I like looking at them. I just wish I had written down some of the colors I mixed. LOL I really like some of them!

See ya there!

Hmmm...how is it that I don't have my catalog yet?! I do kind of live in the middle of nowhere...

Lisa, looking forward to seeing you again at B&B! Jeri - you KNOW we'll get together there!

I live in southern Illinois and I haven't received my catalog yet either. But I have checked out the classes online and think I have made my choice. Lori

Hi Barb,

Happy New Year - say hi to your sweetie for me.

My "Glitters" class has really developed into a 5 day class....so I've taken some of the most fun and popular parts of the class for the 2 day class......dichro and metals. It was getting too hard to cover all that stuff in just 2 days - I keep finding more things to add.

So in the 2 day we spend a whole day on dichro - what to buy, how to use it, marbelizing it, layering, making dichro stringers and more.....then the second day we work with metal - copper, silver, gold - leaf, sheet, mesh, wire, fuming and lots of other fun stuff.

It is a busy 2 days...but lots of good info.
Hope to see ya there....don't forget that ya have to sign up for the ISGB WE scholarship program early this year - Larry and I really look forward to having our favorite assistants with us.

love ya - Lisa

I registered on line yesterday and managed to snag the classes I wanted. I was on line 1 hour after registration opened, and was shocked to see that some classes were already full! Wow

Caty I was on, snagged my classes, and paid by 1205. LOL That was late for me, too. I know that if I wait, I won't get the classes. I'm so broke this year that I'm not taking too many.

PMC Texture-
Larry Scott--The Dot and the Line
Writing instructions for classes
and the Flame Off.

I wish I could take some of the other glass classes but I had to just pick one this year. I've taken a few that I'd LOVE to take over but with a limited budget...that won't work.

So what did YOU sign up for?

I am horribly excited and dry-mouthed to take Robert Dancik and Louise Duhamel's two day class "looking for the way". Oh Boy
and then on Wednesday Celie fago's "transforming lentils".
And the Flame Off Friday night.
Yes, expensive week but I'm thinking of it this way, I pay for it now and then by June the pain of the expense will be a very distant memory. LOL

I posted in another thread, but I got into Stephanie Sersich and Dustin Taobors master class, so I was able to choose classes before the 15th. Feel so lucky.
I also took, The Vortex bead and No more Dots. All Lampworking. Can't wait!

Caty, Celie Fago is supposed to be a great teacher!
Deb, I was lookingat Larry's class in case I didn't get into the master class. That'll be great, too.

Celie is a WONDERFUL teacher! You are SO going to enjoy it.

Part of the problem with the glass classes is that so many of them are the same days. I guess since a lot of the same people come back I just have to space it out over a couple of years. I've had wonderful classes there so far and don't expect anything different this year.
