Default How to Encase Striking & Reducing Glass

When I strike or reduce glass like DH or Striking Color, it always looks good before I encase. Then I encase and it looks like hell, all washed out. What can I do or what should I be doing to avoid this from happening?

For the striking ones, I usually restrike the glass after I encase it.
