Default Transparent Enamel

I work almost entirely in 104COE and recently got some more opaque enamel but I splurged and got some transparent too. Looking for creative ways to use it. Any suggestions!?

I'd try them all on white, opal yellow and silver pink, then the teal on sky, the purple on pink, and the green on uranium yellow pastel. I'd also try them all over white enamel. I think you have to experiment.

They'll give you a watercolor effect over clear. Also, try making stringer with them over white. You'll get a swirly effect.

I was going to say that I really like transparent enamels over clear.

Thompson enamel, its the 9400 series. I got a partial sampler box at my local glass supply. Off to see who sells it online...

If you can buy local ... great. But the best prices ... on samplers anyway that I found were directly from Thomson.

Here is the link:

http://www.thompsonenamel.com/

I bought the full sampler for 90/96 glass some time back. Have only played with a few colors so far (no transparents) but tons of fun!!

I am trying to get into enamels- I am just not liking the fact that my studio is so humid (Iam on a back porch in South Florida) that sifting it seems to clump up and gets all "not nice" I would love to incorporate it more if I did not have this problem- Good luck Joy I cannot wait to see what you come up with!
