Default Diff between old and new copper green?

By “old” I mean around 2006-2008. How does what is available today compare?
Thanks!

Default Copper Green

591219 Copper Green has remained pretty much the same over the years. In regards to 591266 Opal yellow, there can be many different tonalities.

Thanks Mike! It was because of the changes in OY that I asked.

I have 3 batches of Copper green from over the years. Some look red, some look mint green and all of them work the same for me. If I reduce my flame a bit I can get the red any time. I know some people claimed that red copper green was better blah blah blah. I like using OY and copper green together.

In my hands the red copper green is different from regular, which stays minty. But I never played around with the 🔥. Love CG with OY!!

Same to me. What's the word on the street with "changes" to OY?

I believe that there are no longer the dark batches that were available 10+ years ago.

You may want to check into that, the last batch I hate because it is dark haha. I've grown to like the lighter. If anyone wants to trade let me know!

Do they have rings like some of these old rods do? If so I bet someone will want them.

They kind of do, it's faint rings. I have old batches like that, and I do like it. That bundle is better than roses! This new batch just looks like CIM Stone ground without the fun. I thought i had photos because I wrote Mike F about it last Dec.

Oh my, I have a few dozen of the rods looking just like the photo above.
My glass playing days took a detour but I am scratching my way back
Any labels are long gone....
When the sun comes up, I will take photo and post it
Parts of my garage studio are light-less
Thanks
