Default Frit and Sifters

Is there a specific size or average for frit to be considered #1 or #3, etc? I have a ton of frit I want to sell, but need to sift and size before I can!!
Thanks for any help!
Smiles, Sheri

ABR sells a frit sifter set that will separate all the frit into the separate sizes. Here is the link: http://www.dichroicimagery.com/produ...ducts_id=80290

Sheri, I don't know what the official sizing is, but if you bought some ready-made frit, you could probably figure it out by getting one or two sizes and comparing it to what you've got.

Anaraku Glass Studio also carries it. It has the frit size in the description.

Default Frit Sifters Bulk Buy??

Thanks everyone for all the links and help!

I wonder if there would be enough interest in a bulk buy for sifters?? I'm thinking yes! I'll put it out there, check around. FYI: I've never done a bulk buy though, either as the buyer or buyee. Someone else may need to run it.

I bought three different sizes at my local dollar store. They are strainers and work really well.

Thank you so much!

Some of Gaffer's frits are so powdery that I think it would be best to separate them for a little more consistency in the frit "dots" on some of my beads. Oh, I'm just picky like that. lol!
