Honey Glaze by BellaDonna - Anyone using it?
Honey Glaze looks interesting but I'm on the fence about trying it out. The sample pics AS shows looks like the color I want when it's reduced and encased. I don't work striking glass too well and their striking pics look like something can go horribly wrong if I get hold of that glass, lol. Anyone using this glass and have any bead pics and tips to share?

All I know is, just the name of that glass makes me want to buy some. I bet it's gorgeous! Hoping someone posts some pictures.

I have been using it and love it..it is a gorgeous honey/amber color when not reduced and a variety from honey to gold/green/blue when reduced and encased. I don't have any pics right now but I will work on it.. It seems very easy to work..even if you don't have the "touch" (like me LOL)

I LOVE it. It is easy to work with but my main reason for loving it was this reaction I got when I put it over turquoise.

Thanks for the info, Barbara!
Branda, that's a pretty bead! I like that reaction too. I guess I'll go ahead and order a little bit and see what happens. Thanks!

It does storm. I used it really sparingly on the above beads because I didn't want to waste it.

Had to share this marble. The inside has a swirl of honey glaze. I am not very good at marble making yet, so this marble was cooked at the torch for a very, very, long time. It didn't burn, didn't boil, and stayed just the way I wanted it to. Like swirls of fluff inside the marble.

I got incompatibility crack with moody blue (maybe purplecent. cant be sure they are so similar in the rod) when I just laid dots of effetre clear over the reduced glass and melted it in, I am weary about the same happening here.... I didnt get cracks for almost a month, but every dot had a splice right in the middle of the dot.
Anybody have issues encasing the honey? or the otehr colors for that matter?

I have only used the honey. I will let you know how this marble holds up, since it is encased in just about everything that was on my desk at the time.

This is prettier than the picture. It has dots of Honey Glaze over Ghee, reduced with dragon's breath and dotted randomly with 14K.
